Description
The Roman Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit in Lowicz is the oldest brick church in the city, dating back to 1404.
It originally served as a hospital church, only to transform over time into a gem of Gothic architecture. Four chapels, an early Baroque tower with an onion-shaped dome and a marble plaque commemorating Jan Kilinski are just some of its treasures.
Architecture lovers will appreciate the unique combination of Gothic and Baroque styles, while history enthusiasts will find a fascinating testimony of cultural changes over the centuries.
