Description
Jan Sztwiertnia is an important historical monument in Wisla, commemorating the prominent Silesian composer and pedagogue.
This historical landmark is a tribute to the artist who, despite his short life (he died in a concentration camp at the age of just 30), left behind a significant musical output, including the opera 'Sałasznicy'.
The site allows you to learn about the history of the region through the lens of one of its most important cultural figures, combining elements of classical music with the folklore of Cieszyn Silesia in his work.
