Description
The Kiesewetter Mansion is a fascinating monument from the first half of the 19th century that hides Hrubieszow's remarkable artistic and cultural history.
It once belonged to Ludomir Gustav Florian Kiesewetter - a talented artist, bookseller, painter and sculptor, who ran a workshop here creating unique furniture and picture frames.
The building also housed the first Polish private printing house in Hrubieszow, founded by Victor Kiesewetter around 1909. The distinctive wavy staircase and decorative entrance gate are unique architectural elements of this historic place.
