Description
Such a Beskid Castle is a three-winged architectural gem with four corner towers and an irregular rectangular courtyard.
Built of local stone, it impresses with an arcaded gallery supported by Tuscan pillars and columns. The castle complex houses the City Museum, the Municipal Cultural Center and the University of Tourism and Ecology.
The clock tower houses the Chapel of St. Peter the Apostle, whose stonework details are attributed to Flemish master Paul Baudarth. It is an ideal place for lovers of history and culture.
