Wioska dziecięca SoS

The SOS Children's Village in Bilgoraj is the first such center in Poland and Eastern Europe, opened in 1984. The site commemorates some 30,000 children from the Zamojszczyzna region deported to Germany during World War II.

It consists of 14 family homes where children find a stable and loving environment. Each house forms a family unit with a caregiver and 6-7 children.

The center offers specialized psychological, health and legal support, and runs the 'SOS Family Strengthening Program' to help families in need.
