Plaża Estudantes

The Estudantes beach is a picturesque corner in Lagos that impresses with its unique character. Divided into two sections connected by a tunnel, it offers both fine sand and more shell-like sections.

Its showpiece is a Roman-style bridge - a remnant of the Pinhão fortress destroyed in the 18th century earthquake. Natural tunnels connecting the beach to neighboring Praia da Batata and Praia do Pinhão are accessible at low tide, creating a fascinating route for exploration.

Sheltered by Ponta da Piedade, the beach provides a tranquil atmosphere ideal for relaxation and short swims in the cool waters of the Atlantic.
