Plaza de la Bandera Republica Dominicana

Plaza de la Bandera Republica Dominicana is an impressive symbol of Dominican national pride.

Designed in the shape of a Latin cross, the plaza is adorned with a monumental triumphal arch, reminiscent of Paris' Arc de Triomphe, with two angels symbolizing Glory and Honor. At the base of the arch is a sculpture depicting the homeland holding a fallen soldier.

Numerous flagpoles with Dominican flags surround the square, creating a spectacular view, especially at sunset. It's the perfect place to take a walk and learn about the country's history.
