Plage des Sablettes

Plage des Sablettes is a unique beach in Menton, the only one on the Côte d'Azur covered with fine gravel instead of stones. Thanks to a 2019 renovation, it is surrounded by a beautiful promenade with restaurants and stores.

It's an ideal place for families with children - the shallow water makes it safe even for the little ones. The beach offers a picturesque view of the Italian mountains and the colorful houses of Menton.

It's worth taking swimming shoes, although the fine gravel is pleasant for the feet. An artificial breakwater protects part of the beach, creating a calm bay ideal for swimming.
