Council Square - Town Square is the heart of historic Brasov, surrounded by medieval buildings. This 15th-century Gothic square impresses with its atmosphere and architecture, and its focal point is Casa Sfatului - the former city hall, now the Brasov History Museum.

Surrounding the square are charming townhouses and the historic Hirscher House, once a market house. From here, it's only a few steps to Romania's largest Gothic church, the Black Church. Walking around the square, you can feel the authentic spirit of medieval Transylvania.
