avatarVesna Glušaca week agoBeautiful Sultan's palace, now a museum. Entry price around 30€/per person. The entry line wasn't too bad, maybe some 10-15min wait. Palace was amazing inside and out. The chandeliers alone were enough to make us stand in awe! The wealth, the history... it's something to see for sure!
avatarDimi Rogatchev2 months agoStep into the colourful gardens and dive into the magnificent architecture as well as rich history of this place! Unfortunately you are not allowed to make pictures within closed areas - trust me you will not regret it if you come and see it for yourself! Don’t forget to visit the painting museum - Full with paintings that captured the history of the Ottoman Empire! A nice surprise was the park full with different birds!
avatarMargo Sukhytska2 weeks agoSplendid! The place is drenched in history and art. I have a Yabancı Museum Card, yet I still had to pay 1500 TL for the entrance, while my husband (a citizen) didn’t have to (he also has a Museum Card). The site is well maintained, they have beautiful gardens and different birds, like peacocks, swans and others. Overall, the security staff was polite, but in a few rooms, some tourists wanted to admire the details a bit longer — and the guards started yelling at them to move on. Honestly, I don’t think that’s professional. People pay good money to visit and should be allowed to enjoy their time without being rushed.
