Description
Pindos National Park is the largest terrestrial national park in Greece, covering nearly 800,000 hectares of wilderness.
It is a nature lover's paradise with impressive geological formations, including the famous Vikos Gorge - one of the deepest in the world. The park impresses with its biodiversity with 30 different natural habitats and is home to brown bears, wolves and more than 415 species of plants.
Adventurers will find trekking trails, rafting and kayaking opportunities on crystal clear rivers, and in winter, 18 ski trails, including the longest natural trail in Greece.
