Piazza del Duomo

Piazza del Duomo is the heart of Milan and one of the most iconic urban spaces in Europe. It is dominated by the majestic Duomo Cathedral, which took nearly six centuries to build.

The cathedral's rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of the city and the distant Alps. Significant buildings surround the piazza, including the luxurious Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with its impressive glass vault and the Palazzo dell'Arengario, now housing the Novecento Museum.

The square also features a statue of King Victor Emanuele II, the first ruler of a unified Italy, immortalized in marble and bronze.
