Description
Philosophers' Way is a scenic 2-kilometer walking path along the northern banks of the Neckar River in Heidelberg. It offers breathtaking panoramic views of Heidelberg Castle, the Old Bridge and the entire city.
Named after the philosophers and poets who drew inspiration here, the route passes through lush gardens and vineyards. Along the way are plaques and monuments commemorating famous thinkers, including the Eichendorff stone and the Merian-Kanzel platform.
An ideal destination for lovers of philosophy, nature and history, especially beautiful at sunrise or sunset.
