Pfitscher Tal

Pfitscher Tal is a picturesque alpine valley stretching from Sterzing into the Zillertal Alps. It offers a variety of hiking trails of varying levels of difficulty, from easy trails for families to challenging routes for experienced climbers.

The valley is famous for its breathtaking panoramic views, the historic Austrian-Italian border crossing, and the oldest alpine hut in South Tyrol - the 1888 Pfitscherjoch house.

In winter, the valley turns into a paradise for cross-country and touring skiers, offering trails as high as 1,450 m. For families, there is a park with a Kneipp pool, mini-golf and a playground.
