Świętokrzyski Park Narodowy

Swiętokrzyski National Park is a place where nature meets history. Poland's oldest mountains, more than 300 million years old, delight visitors with unique rock formations called gołoborza.

The park is famous for its rich biodiversity - more than 700 species of vascular plants and numerous protected species. The highest peak, Lysica (614 meters above sea level), offers breathtaking views.

History buffs will appreciate the post-war monastery complex at Holy Cross, dating back to the 12th century, where some of the oldest Polish written texts - the Swietokrzyskie Sermons - were written.
