Description
South Downs National Park is Britain's youngest national park, established in 2010. It stretches over 1,627 square kilometers from Winchester to Eastbourne, offering breathtaking scenery.
The park is famous for the white chalk cliffs of Seven Sisters and Beachy Head, as well as unique natural habitats, including heathland and chalk grassland.
History buffs will appreciate the many historic sites, such as England's second-largest stronghold of Cissbury Ring and the Roman villa at Bignor. The 140km-long South Downs Way trail is a paradise for walkers and cyclists.
