Description
Parque Natural de Los Volcanes is a fascinating national park located on the island of Lanzarote.
It is a true outdoor museum of volcanology, where you can admire the extraordinary formations created by the eruptions of 1730-1736 and 1824. The landscape is full of volcanic cones, tunnels and lava lakes.
The park offers 3-hour guided tours, during which you will learn the secrets of the formation of the Canary Islands. The tour, about 7 kilometers in length, takes you through the most spectacular points, including La Rilla and Señalo volcanoes and the Santa Catalina caldera.
