Park Narodowy Tyresta

The Tyresta National Park is a true natural treasure just 20 kilometers from Stockholm. This unique area impresses with the largest fragment of primary forest in southern Sweden, where the pines and spruces are over 300 years old.

The 5,000 hectares feature 55 kilometers of trails of varying degrees of difficulty, ideal for both families with children and experienced hikers.

Among the rocky valleys and ravines you can encounter wild boar, beavers and roe deer, as well as pick berries and mushrooms. The naturum education center offers maps and informational materials.
