Gower National Landscape

Gower National Landscape is the UK's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, designated in 1956. This 186-square-mile peninsula is resplendent with a variety of landscapes, from dramatic limestone cliffs to sandy beaches and scenic hills.

It's a paradise for nature and outdoor enthusiasts. Explore more than 1,200 archaeological sites, including caves, Iron Age forts and medieval castles. Take a walk along the 62-kilometer Wales Coast Path or try surfing at the famous Rhossili Bay beach.
