Degirmen Burnu Nature Park

Degirmen Burnu Nature Park is a picturesque corner on the northern part of Heybeliada Island, one of the Princes' Islands in Istanbul. In an area of about 12 hectares, you will discover a wealth of flora, including Turkish pines, Mediterranean cypresses and Atlas cedars.

The park is home to squirrels, hedgehogs, hares and a variety of birds - a paradise for nature lovers and photographers.

Historical buildings, such as the Heybeliada Sanatorium and the Orthodox Theological School, add to the cultural character of the place. Here you can hike scenic trails, swim or rent a bicycle, savoring the tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
