Description
Bentler National Park is a scenic natural area located in the Sarıyer District of Istanbul. It covers 16.3 hectares and is part of the Belgrade Forest.
The park is famous for its historic dams, including Topuzlu Dam (1750), Valide Dam (1796) and Yeni Dam (1839). The abundance of flora and fauna delights nature lovers - you'll encounter oaks, hornbeams, plane trees, as well as wild boars, foxes and deer.
For the active, there are trails for hiking and cycling, and playgrounds for families with children. It's the perfect place to picnic and relax among the greenery away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
