Description
Bagley Wood is a historic woodland in Oxfordshire, owned by St John's College since 1557. This enchanting corner of nature delights with a variety of flora and fauna, especially the spectacular sight of carpets of bluebells (bluebells) blooming in April and May.
The forest offers scenic walking paths and trails for nature lovers. Here you'll find century-old oaks and ash trees and a rich undergrowth of hazel. Note the Latin inscription commemorating William Schlich, founder of the Oxford School of Forestry.
Bagley Wood is the perfect place for a family walk and fun among the trees, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
