Park Narodowy Teide

The Teide National Park is a UNESCO-listed treasure of Tenerife. It is dominated by the majestic Teide volcano - the highest mountain in Spain and the third highest volcano in the world counted from the ocean floor.

The park offers 30 trails of varying levels of difficulty, as well as a cable car that will take you up to an altitude of 3555 meters for breathtaking views.

This is a place of special significance to the indigenous Guanches, who believed that Teide was the gateway to hell. The crystal clear skies allow you to observe as many as 83 of the 88 officially recognized star constellations.
