Park Narodowy Müritz

The Müritz National Park is a true paradise for nature lovers in northeastern Germany. It encompasses more than 100 lakes, including the second largest freshwater lake in the country, and extensive forests covering 72% of its area.

It is an excellent place to observe more than 150 species of birds, including the bald eagle and black stork. The 40-kilometer Müritz Lake Trail and numerous bicycle trails allow you to discover the most beautiful corners of the park.

There are educational programs for families, and photographers will appreciate the numerous vantage points ideal for capturing unique landscapes and wildlife.
