Description
The Mols Bjerge National Park is a unique area in Denmark shaped by glaciers millions of years ago. The fascinating glacial landscape is stunning with rolling hills, deep valleys and white beaches.
The park is famous for its rich biodiversity - rare sand lizards, deer and eagles can be found here. History buffs will appreciate the Bronze Age barrows and medieval castles, including the ruins of Kalø Castle.
For the active, there is the 80-kilometer Mols Bjerge Trail hiking trail and biking trails. You can also birdwatch from designated vantage points or go horseback riding through forests and beaches.
