Description
Corcovado National Park is one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. This Costa Rican natural paradise impresses with 41,788 hectares of diverse ecosystems - from shallow lagoons and swamps to rainforests and 46 kilometers of sandy beaches.
It's home to more than 6,000 species of insects, 500 species of trees and 367 species of birds. Nature lovers can observe endangered species like tapirs, jaguars and wild pigs, as well as capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys and howler monkeys.
