Description

Connemara National Park is a scenic corner of western Ireland, encompassing 2,000 hectares of wilderness.

It's a nature lover's paradise, where you can enjoy spectacular scenery of Twelve Bens mountains, peat bogs and moors shimmering purple.

Four diverse hiking trails lead through fascinating ecosystems, offering panoramic views of Mount Tully, Kylemore Abbey and the Twelve Bens range.

Here you can spot wildlife including deer, otters and the distinctive Connemara ponies, and discover 4000-year-old megalithic tombs.
