Description
Lumpini Park is a green oasis in the heart of Bangkok, created in 1925 by King Rama VI. Named after the birthplace of the Buddha, it offers 57.6 acres of space for relaxation and physical activity.
Rent a swan-shaped boat and float on the artificial lake, or stroll along the 2.5-kilometer paths among more than 30 species of birds. The park is a paradise for sports enthusiasts - you'll find sports fields, tennis courts, a swimming pool and an outdoor gym.
Observe the distinctive monitor warans and visit historical sites like the statue of King Rama VI and the Chinese clock tower.
