Description
The Mountain Park in Muskauer Park is a unique example of 19th-century garden art, listed by UNESCO.
Designed by Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau, it combines natural beauty with elaborate English-style landscaping.
The park stretches on both sides of the German-Polish border, offering a variety of landscapes: forests, lakes, meadows and gardens. Worth seeing are the New Castle with a multimedia exhibition about Prince Pückler, the Rose Garden with more than 15,000 rose bushes and the Pückler Stone, a viewing platform 35 meters high.
