Park Brdo

Brdo Park is a 70-hectare historical complex combining a 16th-century Renaissance castle with Slovenia's first botanical garden.

This protected Natura 2000 area offers 3.7 km of walking trails through forests, meadows, and ponds, where you can encounter Lipizzaner horses, swans, and artistic beehives decorated with paintings by Slovenian artists. Unique features such as the old orangery, the historic castle marina, and traditional haystacks create a magical atmosphere all year round.
