Description
Park Babelsberg is a 114-hectare park in Potsdam, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The stunning neoclassical-style Babelsberg Palace, once the summer residence of the German emperors, is its centerpiece.
The park, designed by Peter Joseph Lenné and Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau, offers picturesque views of Lake Tiefen See and the Havel River. Here you'll find artificial lakes, waterfalls and the famous Bridge of Spies, which played an important role during the Cold War.
For lovers of history and architecture, the park is a real treat - the historic pump house, Glienicke Castle and numerous viewpoints create a unique atmosphere in this place.
