Parcul Civic

Parcul Civic is a charming city park in the center of Timișoara that was built between 1968 and 1971 on the site of the former Transylvanian barracks.

The park impresses with its sprawling lawns, lush vegetation, and a distinctive flower clock that changes its appearance twice a year. After modernization in 2019, it gained renovated alleys, new urban furniture and an ornamental fountain.

It's the perfect place for a family picnic, a stroll among nearly 4,000 roses or relaxing in the shade of one of the many trees. Children will enjoy the playgrounds and electric go-karts, and culture lovers can hit the concerts held in the park.
