Pałac Dożów

The Doge's Palace is a masterpiece of Venetian Gothic architecture that impresses with its monumental construction of gray, white and pink marble.

The palace's interiors hide extraordinary treasures - the Great Council Hall without columns supporting the ceiling, the Golden Staircase designed by Jacopo Sansovino and works by masters of the Venetian school of painting such as Titian, Paolo Veronese and Tintoretto.

The famous Bridge of Sighs, which connects the palace to the prison, allows you to be transported back to the days when prisoners took one last look at the lagoon before being sentenced.
