Description
Sniezka is the highest peak in the Krkonoše Mountains and the entire Sudetenland, rising to 1,603 meters above sea level. Its summit offers an unusual experience - a harsh alpine climate, where even in summer temperatures can drop below zero and winds reach speeds of more than 100 km/h.
At the summit is a distinctive meteorological observatory in the shape of a flying saucer and the historic St. Lawrence Chapel from the 17th century - the highest religious building in Poland and the Czech Republic.
A variety of trails of varying degrees of difficulty lead to the summit, and by crossing the Polish-Czech border during your hike, you will experience the unique feeling of an international mountain adventure.
