Duarte Park

Duarte Park is a historic gem of Santiago de los Caballeros that delights with its more than 100-year history. Originally known as Place d'Armes, it was transformed into a recreational park in 1884.

Surrounded by an antique galvanized iron fence, imported from England in 1883 as a gift to the people of Santiago, the park offers beautiful alleys, colorful flowers and the shade of centuries-old trees.

It is not only a place to relax, but also a cultural center where local events and exhibitions are often held. Here you will find children's playgrounds, outdoor gyms and picnic areas.
