Opactwo Sióstr Benedyktynek w Staniątkach

The Abbey of the Benedictine Sisters in Staniatki is the oldest Benedictine monastery in Poland, founded before 1228 by Klemens Gryfita for his daughter Vizenna.

This unique monument impresses with its 13th century architecture and rich history. Within the abbey's walls is a museum with valuable documents, manuscripts and liturgical items.

A special treasure is the image of Our Lady of Sorrows crowned in 1924, attracting pilgrims and lovers of sacred art. The site combines spirituality with a fascinating journey through centuries of Polish history.
