The Dresden Zoo is a fascinating place full of extraordinary experiences for animal lovers.

The zoo delights with unique enclosures that you can walk through - such as the flamingo aviary or the red kangaroo enclosure, where animals can be observed up close.

The newest attraction is the Orangutan House, the largest construction project in the zoo's history, providing climbing and exploration space for these remarkable apes.

For the little ones, there are seven playgrounds, including water play areas in the summer. The zoo is home to more than 1,000 animals of more than 200 species, including African elephants, suricates and red pandas.
