Description
The Marburg Botanical Garden is a fascinating place for nature and botany lovers. Established between 1961 and 1977 on Lahnberge Hill, it covers 20 hectares of diverse plant collections.
Visitors can enjoy an impressive arboretum with coniferous and deciduous trees, an alpinarium with mountain plants and a collection of 80 species of ferns. A special attraction is the extensive greenhouses with tropical plants, succulents and species from the Canary Islands.
The garden also offers educational trails - a dendrological and geological one, which allow you to deepen your knowledge of plants and rock formations.
