Herrenhäuser Gärten

Herrenhäuser Gärten is a complex of four unique gardens in Hanover, combining history with nature.

The Great Garden (Großer Garten) impresses with its baroque layout, fountains and garden theater, where festivals and fireworks contests are held. The Mountain Garden (Berggarten) offers a wealth of tropical plants in greenhouses and the Mausoleum of the Royal Family of Hanover.

The Georg Garden and the Welf Garden complete the picture, offering peaceful spaces with bridges, ponds and sculptures. Don't miss the garden grotto designed by Niki de Saint Phalle - a true gem of modern art.
