Homunkulus Figurensammlung

Homunkulus Figurensammlung is an extraordinary doll museum in the heart of Vitte on the island of Hiddensee, displaying around 200 handmade dolls from the nearby Seebühne theater.

In this magical 'Wunderkammer', you will discover characters such as Doctor Faust, King Kong, the ugly duckling from Andersen's fairy tale, and the realistic Joachim Ringelnitz. The wooden architecture of the building with its church-like roof creates a unique space full of theatrical magic.
