New York Aquarium

The New York Aquarium is the oldest continuously operating aquarium in the United States, established in 1896.

It delights with its award-winning Ocean Wonders: Sharks exhibit with more than 500,000 gallons of water and a tunnel through which you can walk while admiring various species of sharks.

Outside, in Sea Cliffs, you can observe seals, sea otters and penguins, and in the Spineless area you can admire invertebrates, including giant Pacific octopuses and jellyfish.

For the little ones, there is an interactive PlayQuarium space, and the Aquatheater hosts sea lion shows.
