Description
Ness Country Park is a scenic 55-acre area along the Burntollet River. The park is famous for one of the highest waterfalls in Northern Ireland, formed when the river carved a new channel in the rocks left by the last ice age.
The site impresses with its beautiful gorges, water eddies and rapids. In spring, the ground is covered with bluebells and hare sorrel, and in summer you can hear birds singing.
For the less able-bodied, there are easy walking paths through the meadows, and a natural playground is available for children. This is an ideal place for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
