Description
Warburg Nature Reserve Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust is a tranquil nook in the heart of the Chilterns covering more than 107 hectares. The reserve delights with a variety of habitats - from ancient beech forests to conifer plantations to flowered chalk grasslands and ponds.
It is a nature lover's paradise with more than 2,000 species of plants, birds, mammals and fungi. Particularly noteworthy are the rare varieties of orchids and the multifloral cocklebur plant.
The well-marked paths are accessible to people of all ages, and an observation point at the pond allows for encounters with fascinating birds.
