Description

Trädgårdsföreningen is one of the best-preserved 19th-century parks in Europe, founded in 1842 by King Carl XIV Johan.

It's a true oasis of greenery in the heart of Gothenburg, which impresses with its famous rose garden with more than 4,000 roses representing 1,900 species - appreciated even in the Michelin Guide.

The historic Palm House, dating back to 1878 (currently under renovation until December 2025), and picturesque ornamental gardens with exotic plants transport you to the golden age of horticulture. An ideal destination for nature lovers, families with children and anyone looking for a moment of relaxation.
