Description
Tenczynski Landscape Park is a picturesque protected area in Lesser Poland, covering more than 117 km² of diverse forest ecosystems.
It's a nature lover's paradise with beech, oak and pine forests where you can find protected plant and animal species such as lily of the valley, ivy and tawny owl.
The park also hides fascinating historical monuments, the most famous of which is Tenczyn Castle from the 16th century - the former seat of the powerful Tęczynski family, destroyed during the Swedish Deluge. Numerous hiking trails of varying difficulty allow you to actively explore this charming corner of Poland.
