Stary ogród botaniczny

The Old Botanical Garden in Marburg is a historic corner of nature that has been a delight since 1810. Walking through the alleys of this English garden, you can admire impressive specimens of trees more than 200 years old, including oaks, plane trees and tulip trees.

Since 1994, the garden has been a registered cultural monument, although it is still owned by the University of Marburg. It now serves mainly as a public park, where you can relax among the lush greenery and take in the atmosphere of history.

It is an ideal place for a quiet walk and contact with nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
