Florencecourt walled garden

Florencecourt walled garden is a historic walled garden created around 1789 by William King. This charming corner is delightful with rose gardens, two ponds and an ornamental fountain dating back to the 19th century.

The greatest treasure is the orchard with over 180 heritage trees, producing more than 40 varieties of apples, and the famous Florence Court yew, considered the 'parent' of all Irish yews.

The garden has undergone restoration, restoring its 1930s appearance. It is the perfect place for lovers of nature, history and quiet relaxation.
