Description
Five Flower Lake is an extraordinary lake in Jiuzhaigou Valley, China, famous for its multicolored waters, which create one of the most photographed landscapes in the region.
The crystal clear water allows you to see the bottom of the lake, layers of minerals, and sunken tree trunks, giving it a glass-like appearance. Travertine deposits on the bottom, colorful algae, and unevenly distributed underwater plants create vivid blocks of color: royal blue, emerald green, orange-yellow, and bright red.
The lake is especially beautiful in autumn, when the intense color combinations of the trees are reflected in the water.
