Cotswolds AONB

The Cotswolds AONB is one of the largest and most beautiful areas in England, covering some 2,038 square kilometers of picturesque landscape.

Characteristic limestone hills, beech forests and meadows create a unique setting. The region is famous for its architecture using local limestone, which gives buildings a honey-colored hue.

More than 6,000 kilometers of stone walls crisscross the landscape, and picturesque villages like Castle Combe and Bibury impress with their historic charm. For nature lovers, there are more than 4,800 km of walking and biking trails.
