Description
Castle Bottom is a magical nature reserve with an enchanting landscape of moorland, streams and bogs. As you walk along the designated paths, you can admire the wild Exmoor horses, which, through grazing, help maintain the biodiversity of the place.
The reserve is famous for its rare species of ground nesting birds, including woodlarks, skylarks, and meadowlarks. Clear paths and benches allow you to quietly observe nature without disturbing it.
Remember that dogs must be walked on a leash, especially from March to September when birds are nesting.
